Frequently asked questions

What pressure should an inflatable yacht platform be?

15 to 20 PSI (1.0 to 1.4 bar). Below 12 PSI the deck feels soft; above 20 PSI you risk stressing the seams. Use the supplied 230 V pump with auto shut-off and re-check pressure after the first hour in direct sun.

How long does an inflatable platform last?

With normal seasonal use and fresh-water rinsing, 8 to 10 years. The drop-stitch core does not fatigue like vinyl, and the EVA deck can be re-glued or replaced without scrapping the whole platform.

Can I connect several platforms together?

Yes. Every Oceanus unit has stainless steel D-rings on all four sides. Use the Oceanus connector set (two straps and a padded bridge piece) to create a rigid link, or the Velcro connector for light-duty joins.

Is a floating pool safe from jellyfish and sharks?

The standard mesh floor (5 mm aperture) blocks jellyfish. For shark-prone waters, order the fine marine mesh (2 mm) - it stops everything down to plankton size while still letting water exchange freely.

What is the minimum order quantity?

One unit. We ship single platforms, single pools and single custom builds worldwide. Dealer pricing starts at 5 units per year.

How do I repair a puncture?

Clean the area with alcohol, apply the 2-component PVC glue, and press for 12 hours. Kits ship free with every platform. Seams are covered by the 3-year warranty and are repaired free of charge.
